Mary Lightly personality type is INTP, but her mother is INFP, so she’s an INFJ. Both parents are outspoken, but not entirely the same way. The mother is very literal but her daughter is more abstract. She still loves art and music, but she has a more concrete way of thinking.
She’s very sensitive and won’t take criticism well. She can be very emotional. She has a love for poetry and literature. It’s something that she grew up with.
I think the biggest challenge for her is to be able to be herself because she doesn’t always feel like she can show her emotions or feelings because she’s so used to being around people who are very honest about what they’re thinking.
She’s built up this wall where she feels like she’s not allowed to express herself, but then when someone just tells her that she can be herself, that can be really powerful for her.
What advice do you have for other INFJs?
If you just want to be yourself, don’t try to hide it. Don’t try to be someone that you’re not.
