It's in the way they handle things in real life, in their relationships, in their programming, in their logical approach to issues, in their habits, in their sense of duty, in their way of looking at the world. ISTP people are heads-down, into the future, into the next problem. They are not about living in the past or in the present. If you are ISTP then you are not very emotional, you are not very emotional at all. ISTP people are not very good at handling emotions at all. Here is an example of an ISTP woman, for example. She has no problem watching a horror movie or watching a nice romantic movie with a man at the same time. She likes the suspense of it all, but she doesn't let her emotions get involved with it. She doesn't get out of control with her emotions. When she gets upset about something, she is able to digest it very quick and get back to normal.ISTP men are even more ingrained in that way.
