Sonic the Werehog personality type is ESTP, which in turn is also the ESTP personality type.
The term "Werehog" was coined by Dr. Ivo Robotnik when he was in the process of perfecting his new creation, the Ultimate Lifeform, which was to be the ultimate weapon in his war against his archenemy, Doctor Eggman. He managed to clone Sonic into a werehog, which was a result of Sonic's anger and frustration that he couldn't be himself. Sonic was then experimented on with mutagenic serum in an attempt to create a more powerful being, which was successful, but the mutagenic serum caused the being to develop two personalities due to the mutagenic serum having different effects on each of Sonic's mind. The first personality was Sonic's normal self, which was the dominant one, causing Sonic to have no control over his anger. The second personality was Sonic's werehog self, which is the dominant one in this case, causing Sonic to have no control over his anger. This dualistic nature of Sonic's mind was noted by Dr. Robotnik as "the embodiment of Sonic's inner conflict" and the "most dangerous" aspect of Sonic's personality.
Sonic the Werehog is a transformation of Sonic the Hedgehog. While corrupted by Dark Gaia's power and unprotected by the inert Chaos Emeralds, Sonic would take on this form every night at sundown. Despite his fearsome appearance and new abilities, it was the same old Sonic behind all the fangs and claws.
