Christa personality type is ESTJ, which is the same as me, so I am very comfortable around her. I went to a lot of their workshops and loved them all. I am a little bit more of a hands-on learner, and that is probably one of the reasons I ended up in a career that is not a science. I’ve always been a helper. I love to be in the kitchen with my hands in there, but I always wanted to be a helper, not a researcher or a scientist. I am really fortunate that my mother is a helper, and she has been the most influential person in my life. She is a helper in her own business, but she also volunteers for me when I need help with things.
What was the first thing you did to start your business?
I had been doing some consulting on the side for a couple of years while I was working on my MBA and then I started to see that there was a serious need for the service that I was offering. My MBA was in marketing and sales, and I had done some consulting but not enough to really know what I was getting myself into.
