    The different types of INTP

This article is about the INTP personality type. However, there are many subtleties to this type, and many different ways to describe the INTP. This article focusses on the differences between the three dominant subtypes of INTP. They are:

    ENTP (Extraverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving)

    INTJ (Introverted Intuitive Judging)

    INTP (Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving)

Of course, it's entirely possible to have a mixture of these three types in one person, so it's worth noting that not every INTP is any of these three types. There are also other less common types that can sometimes be found. These are described in a later section.

What do these types have in common?

All three types have a commonality of being highly intelligent, but also being hard to get along with. They have a very high ability to see the big picture, and a willingness to study and analyse things from a very logical perspective, but this can make them insufferable when they get stuck in a rut.
