He is also a clinical psychologist, who is interested in how people think, what makes them tick, and how they can change. He is most well-known for his work on the so-called “introverted/extroverted” personality model, which is based on his experience as an analyst.
He emphasizes that the four MBTI elements are based on Jung’s theory of types, but that “the Jungian classification has no scientific validity whatsoever.”
