What is the personality type of Nick Hornby? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Nick Hornby from Writers Literature Modern and what is the personality traits.
Nick Hornby personality type is ENTJ, which is the hard-charging, take-charge, goal-oriented, all-knowing type. Given that his protagonist is a high school English teacher, I think it’s safe to say that he fits that bill.
Hornby describes the way his protagonist talks to the world as being “a form of street talk” – a sort of slang.
I’m a big fan of Hornby’s work, so I was happy to see that he had a book on this topic – and even more surprised to find that it wasn’t a book about marketing or sales.
Rather, it’s a book about the author as a celebrity, as a well-known writer. In this case, Hornby doesn’t talk about how he uses street talk to market his books – he only talks about how he uses it as part of his personality.
One of the reasons I love this book is that it gives a good overview of the ENTJ personality type – explaining why they can be so successful in marketing and sales, and why they tend to do well in those roles.
