Márton Simon (born 14 April, 1984) is a hungarian poet, freelance editor and translator - and a slam poetry performer.
His debut poetry collection Dalok a magasföldszintről (Songs from 3:45 AM) appeared in 2010. In 2013, Simon rose to popularity in Hungary with Polaroidok (Polaroids). His third collection, Rókák Esküvője (Fox Wedding), was released in the fall 2018. His work has earned numerous accolades, including the Makói Medal, the Móricz Zsigmond Grant, the Visegrad Fund Fellowship, and the Horváth Péter Grant. He lives, writes, translates, and organizes artistic, literary, and slam poetry events in Budapest.
