Starservant personality type is INTP, which makes sense due to the fact that they are logically minded and are most concerned with understanding things and figuring out how they work. Many INTJs who work in an Advocate role, such as myself, tend to become very annoyed when others don’t behave logically, or want to put their own needs aside to help others in need. Sometimes, this can be seen as rude or selfish, but I think that it is really simply a matter of being logical. If you’re going to ask for help, then you should be prepared to let someone else help you.
A typical day at work involves me reading through several of the messages I get from my clients and then responding with advice, suggestions, or more information. This is where I begin to find out more about the person and what their real issues are. I’m often asked for suggestions on how to improve the situation, and sometimes I give them some helpful advice on what they can do to make things better. I also find myself making phone calls to clients and talking with them about their current situation and how they can possibly improve it.
What I am most proud of is that I get to help people solve their problems and improve their lives.
