NBA 2K personality type is INTP, which is a rare type for a developer. That said, I can’t imagine there aren’t tons of people out there who are more interested in the style, tone, and writing than they are in improving graphics.
There’s a lot of room still for improvement in NBA 2K17. The game could use more signature play animations, like the behind-the-back passes that the Golden State Warriors used to rack up wins last season. There are a lot of new modes, but they’re all relatively shallow. The biggest addition is the aforementioned MyTeam mode, which is similar to the collectible card games that you may have played as a kid. A few of the cards feature stats that you can collect and put on your MyTeam player. It’s a fun little addition and should keep the game interesting for a good chunk of the year.
NBA 2K17 is a solid game, but it’s nowhere near perfect. I can’t help but feel like I’ve played it before. There are better versions of NBA 2K17 out there, like NBA 2K16, NBA 2K15, and NBA 2K14.
