    INTP

    INTP (4w5)

Vampire: The Masquerade personality type is INTP, which is one of the rarest and most complicated of the cognitive functions, and also one of the most interesting and complex ones.

INTP's are the only Myers-Briggs personality types in which the opposite is also true: they are the only temperament that is both inferior and superior to its opposite.

INTPs are often described as "The Architects" (partly because they're good at building things) and "The Philosophers" (because they're good at thinking about things). People with this temperament frequently write books and articles about the nature of intelligence and how we should think about intelligence in our society.

INTPs are typically introverted, but also quite social and outgoing in some ways. They like to be alone, and like to spend long periods of time in silence musing about things in their head. They're often considered "the loners" of the Myers-Briggs temperament, since they tend to not have a lot of close friendships, but don't consider it a negative. They're very loyal friends or comrades, and very hard to get on the bad side.

Vampire: The Masquerade is a tabletop role-playing game created by Mark Rein-Hagen and released in 1991 by White Wolf Publishing as the first of several Storyteller System games for its World of Darkness setting line. It is set in a fictionalized "gothic-punk" version of the modern world, where players assume the roles of vampires, who are referred to as "Kindred", and deal with their night-to-night struggles against their own bestial natures, vampire hunters and each other. Several associated products were produced based on Vampire: The Masquerade, including live-action role-playing games, dice, collectible card games, video games, and numerous novels. In 1996, a short-lived television show loosely based on the game, Kindred: The Embraced, was produced by Aaron Spelling for the Fox Broadcasting Company.
