Hendrik Jan Jeroen Pauw (Hilversum, August 15, 1960) is a Dutch television journalist / presenter and television producer. In December 2019 he ended his talk show "Pauw" after 5 years. The late night of NPO 1 will be followed by the new talk show Op1 from January 6, 2020. From October 1989, when commercial television started in the Netherlands, Jeroen Pauw was seen as a journalist / presenter of the daily news bulletins for the RTL News, together with Loretta Schrijver. In addition, for RTL 4 he presented the cultural talk program Studio Rembrandt and the Kwestie van kies program, in which a prominent main guest was presented with various dilemmas. Pauw became known as a keen interviewer and received a Golden Image for that program in 1999. Pauw started the television production company TVBV in 2000 together with Peter Adrichem. As a presenter, he switched to public broadcasting in early 2001. TVBV made programs for BNN, among others, which were presented by Pauw.
