What is the personality type of Mannerism? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Mannerism from Visual Art Genres and what is the personality traits.
Mannerism personality type is INFP, and I am often intrigued by how people's personalities and psychological profiles end up, and I think it's a fascinating subject that deserves some investigation. People who "fit" the INFP type are often people who tend to be very creative, but also very sensitive and sometimes moody. But I think that's true of most people (though I'm not sure everyone is creative).
But I also think that the MBTI is a pretty good way of sorting out some people's type, but not all of them. For instance, I know a lot of people who have MBTI profiles that say they're INFP, but in practice I don't think they're INFP at all. Like, my best friend is an INFP, and she is a tough-as-nails kind of person who has zero problems saying when she thinks people are being stupid or when she thinks they're being rude. She is also a totally normal person in every other way--she's a total introvert, she totally gets my depression and anxiety, and she's my best friend forever. We've been friends for seven years now and we've never had a fight or a fight-that-ended-in-a-fight.
Mannerism, sometimes referred to as late Renaissance, was the stylistic phase in the art of Europe between the High Renaissance and the baroque, covering the period from c. 1510–20 to 1600. The move away from High Renaissance classicism is already evident in the late works of Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael, and in the art of Michelangelo from the middle of his creative career. Although 16th-century artists took the formal vocabulary of the High Renaissance as their point of departure, they used it in ways that were diametrically opposed to the harmonious ideal it originally served, thus Mannerism is considered as a valid and autonomous stylistic phase.
