    Billy "Snake” Niksslip
    ISTP

    ISTP (6w5)

Billy "Snake” Niksslip personality type is ISTP, but he also has a number of other traits that are ISTP related. When I first read this article, I was very under the impression that I was seeing a lot of Si.

The reason for this is because I am a strong Se user and weSiTeRs (Se users) rely on our intuition and emotions to make decisions. It is also pretty common for people to misjudge Si users which is why we don’t often see Si dominant individuals in authority positions. As I read more about this article, I realized that I was wrong.

I am confident that most of the ISTP personalities that I know personally fall into the Si category.

If you are like me, you probably think that ISTPs are very similar to INTPs. This is not entirely true.

I first became aware of this concept when I first studied MBTI and realized that many of the people on my team and in my organization were ISTPs.

Once I got to know these people better, I realized that they had some very different characteristics than INTPs.

The ISTP is an active, practical, and often courageous person.
