I love the way Feustel, in his book on the Enneagram, brings to life the idea of the personality type, keeps a close eye on the variations in type and uses that to illuminate the personal journey.
The following chart summarizes the key insights of my paper.
In sum, when we look at the various personality types and their inter-relationships we find that each type has a unique mission, unique values and unique values in the various relationships they develop. But these are not only different with respect to their own personal lives, they also have very different implications for society at large. Specifically, if we think about the issue from a social point of view, we see that each personality type has a different idea about how society should be organized and how society should treat its citizens.
