They also love debating and having discussions on various topics.
Because of their independent nature, however, they don’t like to follow established rules and systems. They may find it boring and not worthwhile. Little is known about the older Hozuki brother, Suigetsu didn't speak much of him nor mentioned anything about Mangetsu's death. However during his reanimation, Mangetsu stuck close to the other swordsmen giving off a vicious grin on occasion. Judging by his expressions, Mangetsu appears to be much slower towards emotion than Suigetsu showing merely a smirk or a faint grin.
