Miou Suguri personality type is ESTJ, so she's the kind of girl who's all about efficiency and keeping things calm and collected, even if that means setting aside a personal issue or coming through with the tough questions. She can be a little bit bossy, at times, but she always means well, and is actually a very nice person. She tends to try to cover up her bossiness by going all-out and being as bossy and efficient as possible, but she does have a softer side. She's also very honest and straightforward, so she'll gladly tell you exactly what she thinks about something.
In the anime, she's constantly trying to cover up her insecurities and fears by acting tough, but it doesn't take too long for the cracks to show. She's definitely more shy than in the manga.
However, she's certainly not a pushover. She can be pretty scary when she gets angry, but she's generally very level-headed and simply gets things done.
I think it's easy to see why people would like her personality, but I don't think of her as a particularly appealing character in her own right - I can't really think of anything interesting or interesting-looking about her.
