Cinnamon personality type is INTP, and this is one of the best books I've ever read on personality type.
I enjoy learning about other types, but I don't have a particularly strong interest in learning about type. I do have a lot of experience with personality types and (especially) preferences, but I don't have much interest in relating those to my own life. So when I was asked to read this book, I was excited because it sounded really interesting.
I think it is super-interesting, but I don't think it's very useful in the real world. The author has a lot of interesting theories and ideas about personality, but she doesn't provide any practical advice. The book is filled with ideas, but they aren't tied to any personal experiences or recommendations. The book is more like a collection of interesting personal anecdotes, than a how-to guide.
That being said, if you're interested in learning more about personality type and preferences, this book is great. The author clearly has a lot of knowledge about both, and she shares a lot of valuable information here. She also explains a lot of topics in great detail, which is great.
There are a lot of fascinating theories and ideas here.
