He is a highly intelligent person, and through his experiences, learns about the world. He is also very kind, open-minded, and tolerant of other people's points of view, but at times he tends to be harsh and cruel. He has a caring streak deep down, and likes to help out his friends in any way he can.
In the first episode, the Fuga is a part of a team of four people, who attempt to learn about young people's lives through the use of their sense of smell. The Fuga is shown to be a very cool person, and is often seen wearing sunglasses (as in the opening sequence). He also likes to wear his sunglasses while doing some of his experiments. He doesn't have any special power, but he is able to sense out all kinds of things with his sense of smell.
