For example, in my previous article, "Do Extraverted CEOs Really Benefit From Extraversion?," I discussed how extraversion typically doesn't affect hiring in a negative way and can actually be a positive trait.
That's why I suggest managers don't just focus on specific personality types when hiring. Instead, they should understand how certain personality types relate to job performance and then match those traits with specific job requirements.
Managers can then look at the personality type of the person they're hiring and see whether or not it will fit well with their team and company culture. If so, then it's a good choice for the job.
But if not, then you might want to consider other options.
