I agree with you on the connections between the Teddie Shadow and the INTP. I'm also thinking that he might be an ENTP with a highly developed imagination. He is clearly not an ordinary person in the real world, which is why he is in the real world in the first place. His parents are in the real world, but they don't really know him. He's always in the real world creating his own world, so to speak, with his imagination.
