Arashi Nikaidō personality type is ENTJ, the only time this has been tested, and the most common personality type in Japan.
In the English-speaking fandom, this is often called the "Japanese "type"", or abbreviated to "J-type", and often confused with the "Japanese "type"" (J-type) of the ISFJ. There is a name for the two, however: the ISFJ is sometimes called the "Japanese "type"", while the ENTJ is sometimes called the "Japanese "type"". The two words are not interchangeable, and in some cases one can refer to the other in order to avoid confusion.
This is the most common personality type among Asian countries, and found only slightly less common among Asian Americans; the highest percentage of ENTJ personalities in both groups are found in Japan.
The Japanese word "Nikaidō" () is a compound of the words "ninchi" (健気) and "dō" (道). The word "nikai" (健) means "health", and "dō" (道) means "way", in reference to their predisposition towards achievement and hard work.
