Moore, who's been writing about video games for over 20 years, went on to explain that this also occurs in film.
"Women in films are often put into 'sexualized' roles, such as the girlfriend or wife of a bad guy," said Moore. "I think this happens because women are so often put on a pedestal by society and the media in general. Women are perfect and pretty and not real. They're not allowed to make mistakes or be punished for them. They need to be perfect and pretty."
