The only ENTJ I've ever seen out of fiction was a character in the Futurama episode "Love and Rocket". A guy named Farnsworth, who was also an inventor. I don't remember where he got his job in the show, but it probably wasn't as a computer programmer. I don't remember if he got the job because he was an ENTJ or if he was just applying for the job and they just gave the job to him. ENTJs are extremely rare in fiction, anyway, which makes it all the more surprising to me that a character like him showed up.
I'm going to guess that this is the first ENTJ in fiction to get a job because of his personality type. If anyone can find an earlier example, please let me know.
