Hodge personality type is ENTJ, and I'm a medium ESFP. When I was a teenager, I remember being extremely self-conscious about my body image, especially the size of my hands. At the time, I had a slight case of osteoporosis and I was very aware of the fact that my hands looked too small for my body. But back then, I had a sense of style that was a mix of "girly" and "punk."
One day I came across a band that was playing a show in our town. I was super into them and I thought they were going to be huge. Around this time, I also started going to a local all-ages punk rock club called the Backroom. This was great for me because it was a place where you could go and not be judged for liking heavy music. For the first time in my life, I felt totally comfortable going to clubs to see bands playing music that wasn't mainstream pop.
When I saw a flyer for a show that a band called the Go-Gos were going to be playing at the Backroom, I went straight there after work and bought a ticket.
