Baldinho personality type is INTP, not INTJ.
Baldinho is apparently the only time I've ever used the word "man" in this thread, so I assume I've decided to give up on trying to be funny.
I'm not going to try to make a point about the different types or anything.
I was going to say that while I don't think the types are very important, I do think it's a good idea to keep them in mind while interpreting a novel, but it's probably better to think of them as a crutch for anyone who needs them.
In any case, I thought this was a fun thread.
I am not a translator myself, but I am a "reader". I don't speak any language but English. In my opinion, translating novels from their original language into English is a hard task. The more you translate a given work, the more you know about the author's culture and the way he/she thinks. It makes a difference. For example, in my opinion, a Japanese author will probably have a different view of the world than a French author, etc.And so it is with "type.
