I am a type 2 and I just got a year long job in a hedge fund. The hedge fund I worked for was a place that people with type 2's do not want to work. Type 2s are generally not suited for Wall Street. I had to get a "2" letter on my resume because I was leaving the navy for a year. My recruiter did me a favor by putting me in an environment where I was able to learn things, rather than in an environment where I would be a hindrance.
The environment of the hedge fund was very toxic. As an ENTP, I had little interest in the "type 2" type of people they hired there. I did not have time to study, so I was doing a lot of analysis and programming, which are my strengths.
My boss at the hedge fund was pretty good. He didn't give me too much work, but he would guide me through the work I needed to do. He would make sure I was working on the right things. He would give me good feedback, and he was very personable.
