The Myers-Briggs Test is a popular personality test that divides people into 16 types. I took the test myself, and it was one of the most interesting experiences of my life. It was fun and interesting to discover what type I was, and I learned more about myself than I had in years.
The Myers-Briggs Test is based on Jungian psychology, and Carl Jung wrote some of the most brilliant insights into human behaviour. Carl Jung believed our personality types are set in stone, and that we are always either introverted or extroverted. He believed there are 8 different personality types, but he didn't have a name for them. He named them after the Greek letters, and since we use the letters in our language, he called them "types".
The Myers-Briggs Test uses the letters F, P, J, T, S, I and E. I'll explain the types below.
F stands for "finest" or "mother"
T stands for "teacher" or "father"
