Nanao personality type is ESTJ, whose strength is in organization and leadership (or "ethics," as the system calls it). I'm not sure if this is because of the male-dominated society we live in, but Nanao tends to be "all about the rules."
So yeah, Eila is like a more outgoing version of Nanao -- she's a natural girl but she's also an accomplished student and leader. She says that she realizes that she can't be a student forever, and that she's going to make something of herself.
I would have liked a bit more explanation of exactly what that something was going to be, but I suppose that's not the point of the story just yet. And I think it's a good idea to hold off on the big reveal until you can show us why the revelation is significant to the character.
Overall, I think this is a very good first chapter. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
