Miles Heizer personality type is INFP, if my memory serves me correctly. I don't think it's right to call the INFP "a pessimist". The INFP is a very happy person but they are also very realistic. They are often aware of the world they are living in and are very good at seeing the flaws of it. They are, however, very open minded about new things. I don't think they see many things as being hopeless. They are also very intelligent, even though sometimes they feel like they are not.
I think that the definition of "pessimist" is very vague. If you told someone that they were a pessimist, I don't think they would agree with you. I think that it's more that they don't like the status quo and that they see too many flaws in it.
