When he is feeling unwell, he often goes to see Dr. Neal Schweiber, a specialist in the field of pain, and who has a series of experiments and treatments for Dave. This is where the comedy happens: Dave is brought in and tested on, then told that he can be treated, but he must pay for the treatment, then pay again later to be treated again. He does this over and over, with Dr. Schweiber taking advantage of his ignorance and ignorance of the law.
