Mystery Man
"Mystery Man" is a character from the DC Animated Universe, who is alluded to in the Batman Beyond series. He first appears in the episode "Legends of the Dark Mite" and is voiced by Jim Meskimen. In this episode, he works for the Joker. He leads Terry into a trap, where he is forced to fight the Joker at the end. After being defeated, he reveals that he himself was taken into a trap, and was then forced to fight Batman as part of the Joker's plan. He eventually escapes and returns to his partner, who begs him to kill Batman. He then kills his partner by shoving him off a cliff, and sets off to attack Batman. Batman eventually defeats him, and he is captured by the police.
In the episode "Fugitive," a mystery man is shown among a group of policemen who are chasing Bruce Wayne/Batman. This "mystery man" resembles a young man with an energy sphere on his head.
