I’ve also noticed that my son often has “witty” moments, and comes up with a lot of creative jokes and puns that are original and a bit out there. He’ll sometimes tell them in class, and the teachers just roll their eyes at him. I’ve noticed that he has a very quick wit, which he can use to his advantage in some settings where he might not be as well liked.

I was just in the middle of reading the book The Art of War, which is basically a guide for military strategy, and it occurred to me that these same principles could also be applied to politics and business. It put me in mind of something that Donald Trump said during the primary campaign.
