Mr. Robot personality type is INTP, the thinking and perceiving personality, who is usually also a hacker. (I have been told that this isn’t 100% accurate, and that there is more to the story.)
The INTP personality type can be very creative and innovative, but not necessarily always so. In fact, some INTPs are known to be poor innovators, and are more often than not the ones that need an idea to happen in order for them to come up with new creative ideas. However, when an idea does come to them, it is usually very unique and original.
INTPs can be very analytical, so they make great hackers. They may not be the ones that are hacking the systems being targeted, but they are the ones thinking up ways to go about the job without getting caught.
The INTP personality type is also very logical. When they do come up with an idea, they will take their time to fully understand the consequences of their actions. This can sometimes make them appear indecisive, but if they pick the right path, their actions will be logical and well thought out.
While some INTPs have a hard time showing emotion, others have a hard time expressing emotion at all.
