When I met him, he was in graduate school and had no idea what he wanted to do with his life. He was a hot mess, and my heart broke for him. I knew that he had a lot of raw talent and that he had a lot of great ideas, but he was holding himself back because he didn't know what his purpose was. When we started working together, I always made it my mission to help him discover his purpose.
When I look at Clint's life, I see him pursuing his purpose. His purpose is to serve. In 1987, when Clint was 12 years old, he saw an advertisement in the youth paper for a new service program called Youth Corps. He thought that this program sounded like fun, and he decided to apply. The organization was a small one that provided service in four areas: arts, education, recreation, and community development.
