Dr. Dreyfuss personality type is ESTJ, which is probably the best fit for me. He really embodies all of the characteristics that fit me perfectly. He is a perfectionist, but not a sloppy perfectionist. He is driven, but not a short-sighted dictator. He is strict but fair. He is a good doctor, but not an arrogant know-it-all. He is caring, but not a doormat. He is a doer, but not a reckless daredevil. I can see myself being Dr. Dreyfuss’ patient.
There is a lot of material on ESTJs in the world of personality tests, and I found it to be helpful in deciding my own personal type. However, I’ve now come to realize that these tests are only going to be beneficial to someone who is still learning about his or her own personality type. For those who are closer to their type, I think they’ll get more out of the test.
It’s not that I don’t agree with Dr. Dreyfuss on everything.
