But I’ve been told that I’m a good communicator and a good writer, and I’m not sure how to reconcile that with the fact that I have a hard time keeping track of my own thoughts. Here’s the thing: I get things. When I’m on a roll, I get things. And when I’m not on a roll, I get nothing. So if you think my writing is random, well, it’s not. It’s just that when I’m not on a roll, my mind gets distracted. When I’m on a roll, it stays on task. And when I’m on a roll, my mind is brilliant, and I can remember stuff. But it’s the other times that are the problem.
