Soda, who is not much of a singer, has been given the task of living his life as a singing sensation. When he is asked by his script writer to play the role of an unhappy gay man, he decides that he will have the most interesting life of all, if he is gay and Jewish.
Although there is a lot of fun in this book, it has a very dark and serious tone. I was amazed at how much I was able to connect with Soda as he told his story. I could feel his pain and confusion, and could even relate to his character. The story is a simple one; it is about a person who was born into a wealthy family and becomes the victim of a series of unfortunate events.
