Deildegast personality type is INTP, and the one that is most like me is INTP. There is also an ENTP personality type, but it is not very similar. I think the personality type most like mine is INTP.
One of the main problems with personality tests is that they often measure things that are only partly related to personality. For instance, the Enneagram and the Myers Briggs test both measure introversion and extroversion, which are two different aspects of personality.
In addition, personality tests are often only measuring one or two aspects of personality. As a result, they can be very inaccurate.
Personality tests also have a number of drawbacks:
They take a lot of time and effort to complete. They rely on self-reporting, which can be difficult to remember and even harder to understand. They are expensive, costing thousands of dollars with the most comprehensive tests. They are often hard to take.
An alternative to personality tests is a questionnaire. A questionnaire asks you to answer a series of questions about yourself or about other people you know. Unlike a personality test, a questionnaire does not measure anything about your personality.
A deildegast, it was said, does not receive peace in the afterlife as a result of enlarging his own territory while alive by moving the boundary stones dividing his own and his neighbour's territory. After dying, the deildegast was forced to haunt the area near the boundary stones until he was able to lift it back to its correct place. This feat proved impossible, however, as the stone would always slip, causing the deildegast to emit a sorrowful scream before trying again to no avail.
