In order to understand what inspired Dwight T. Barnes, it’s important to understand the world he grew up in. Born in rural Alabama, Dwight was raised in a small farming community. Like most people that grow up on small farms, Dwight had a lot of chores to do, and did not have time for leisure activities. As a result, he had to find other ways to occupy his time. Dwight did a lot of extra work around the farm, but he also spent a lot of time in the garage tinkering with various machines, and learning about cars.
For fun, Dwight also started a band with a friend called “The Dirtbombs”.
