Vacations personality type is INTP, which is the most common among people in their 40s and 50s, according to Dr Sandra Goldbeck-Vitale, a psychologist at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Almost a third of Americans believe that the best time for a vacation is in the summer, according to a recent survey by Bankrate.com.
But just because you're an INTP doesn't mean you can't go on a vacation. “You’re not incapable of doing things,” says Dr Goldbeck-Vitale. “Some people may be more creative but that doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy themselves.”
A vacation is all about balance. “The key is to choose activities that will stimulate you,” says Dr Goldbeck-Vitale. “Being with family is really important, as much as you can be, and it’s also important to be able to be alone.”
