Ranze is a young girl with a strong will, and a strong desire to live. She is very passionate about her music and her friends, and is also very stubborn. She can get very angry when she doesn't get her way, but she does have limits. She hates it when people scream at her, and won't run away from someone who is being aggressive to her.
Relationships
Ranze's best friend is Rika, and the two are very close. Rika often helps Ranze when she is in trouble, and vice versa. Ranze is also very loyal to Rika, and will do anything to help her. In Returner, Ranze feels that Rika is a very strong person, and that she is not just a little girl.
