In the anime, Mokuba has a similar appearance to his manga counterpart, but he is taller (not by much) and has a shorter hair style. He also does not have a similar hairstyle as Kaiba's with his bangs and side-swept bangs. He is often seen with a formal attire in the anime.

Mokuba first appears in volume two of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom and while he is at his brother's grave site, he is pulled away by a mysterious man who tells him that he is looking for the "King of Games". Next, he shows up at school and runs into Seto Kaiba, who asks him who he is looking for.
Mokuba Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh! Season 0, unlike Mokuba from DM, is fueled with evil and the desire to hurt others for fun. He doesn't understand what it is like to be helped or help and wants to prove himself to Seto who has no faith in his abilities and punishes him when he does wrong.
