1984 personality type is INTP, and the other is INTJ. I think it is quite interesting that my husband has ENTP. I have been reading about the types and how they work together. I can see how it would be so much easier on him to be with a type that is more comfortable with his ideas.
I don't know, though, if it is better or worse for him to be with me. I am not sure whether he is surprised by the results or not. I have always had an interest in psychology so I thought it might be something to look into. I have read that ENTPs are said to be one of the most independent types, which is why they can be so much fun to date.
When my husband was younger, he liked to live on his own and do his own thing, so I think it was fun for him to be with someone who was so independent and creative. But now that he is older, I think he would prefer a more traditional relationship, and he could use my insight and intuition to give him a more balanced view of things.
One thing that surprises me is that he seems more intelligent than I thought he would be from the things I have heard about his type.
