They have an incredible amount of knowledge and they will often share it with anyone who will listen. While they may have a great deal of knowledge, they are not at all interested in demonstrating it to others. They will often work behind the scenes where they can do their thing without the distraction of communicating with others.
The INTP is more interested in understanding the world than in being understood. This can cause them to be very misunderstood. They are often seen as aloof or even antisocial, but that is only because of how they choose to use their power. They will choose to not use their power at all if they don’t feel that there is any need to do so.
