A senior graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Morales is the first person in his family to go to college. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Texas in Denton.
Morales has spent the majority of his life involved in the STEM fields, namely, science, technology, engineering and math. He is currently an assistant professor and naval architecture/structural mechanics instructor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He also serves in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant commander.
“I love that I get to teach young men and women how to create a better future with science and technology,” he said. “To me, this is what we do for a living. We build stuff that makes people’s lives better.”
