Backstory
Makino was born in the town of Casco, near the small city of Pallet. His father was an industrial mechanic who worked at the local factory while his mother was a homemaker. As a child, he had an interest in mechanics, and was able to fix any of his father's broken machines. When he was young, his father told him of an abandoned factory located on the edge of town. Seeing the factory as an opportunity to work on some of his own ideas, Makino headed there with his father to begin work.
After returning home to Casco for the summer, Makino received word that his father had died in an accident. Devastated by the loss of his father, Makino returned to the factory alone. Over time, Makino managed to create some simple machines and managed to get them running again. He called these machines "Repairbots", and spent the next several months trying to get them to work properly. He did not know at the time that he had accidentally created an army of Repair Bots.
