After the interview, Bella said he and the student go over their resumes and goals before scheduling a follow-up phone or Skype interview. Bella, who was the director of admissions at The University of Chicago, said there is no set time frame for the process.
“It really depends on how fast they’re moving, and how quickly they want to move,” Bella said. “Some people might want to move pretty quick, but then you have someone else who wants to move slower. We just try to give everyone an equal amount of time to work with.
