Jackson personality type is INTP, the "problem solver" type. It is a rare combination of the two most dominant personality types in the population, INTJ and INTP, but I believe it can be done. The reason I believe this is because I believe INTPs (and not just INTPs) can realistically be trained to be more "social" and less "intellectual."
It is possible to teach an INTP to become more social, but it is not easy. It requires serious effort and accountability on the part of the teacher. And this is not easy for the teacher, either. The entire process is fraught with tension and can result in feelings of frustration, boredom, burnout, and resentment on the part of both parties.
So what is the solution? How can you teach an INTP to be more social? There are a variety of ways that work, but all rely on the same basic key: being willing to let go of the "INTP way" and accepting that there are consequences for everyone in your class and for you as both a teacher and as a person.
INTPs are introverted thinkers, which means they prefer to spend time alone.
