Wow! signal personality type is INTP, a rarer type, and it's actually not overly common despite its rarity.
I'm also an INTP, and I can tell you that even though Fe is a common element for this type (since, after all, everyone is in some way "feels," or "listens" to their feelings; the difference is in the foundation of this "feeling" – the direction from which it comes, and what's driving the feeling), INTPs tend to have a very different foundation.
The typical INTP is characterized by having an abstract, analytical mind that's not very attuned to and even somewhat hostile to emotional input. There's also a general lack of very strong emotional impulses and expression on their part, at least not until later in life.
The INTP is a rare type demographically, but it's more common in certain professions. It's more common in science and math, where the mind is not only analytical but also very logical in the process of discovering and interpreting new facts, concepts, and theories. It's also more common in engineering than in many other fields where analytical ability is important, such as banking or accounting.
The Wow! signal was a strong narrowband radio signal detected on August 15, 1977, by the Ohio State University's Big Ear radio telescope in the United States, then used to support the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. The signal appeared to come from the direction of the constellation Sagittarius and bore the expected hallmarks of extraterrestrial origin.
Astronomer Jerry R. Ehman discovered the anomaly a few days later while reviewing the recorded data. He was so impressed by the result that he circled on the computer printout the reading of the signal's intensity, "6EQUJ5", and wrote the comment "Wow!" beside it, leading to the event's widely used name.
